Township Government has been referred to as “Grass Roots” government for many reasons. The officials live and work in the Township and are accessible to the citizens. Like many communities Lockport Township continues to grow and change. The Township Officials and Board of Trustees continue to evaluate to needs of the residents of Lockport Township and develop programs to better serve the people we represent.
To echo our mission statement, Lockport Township Officials strive to serve the people of our township to the best of our ability. We firmly believe that the key to successful communities begins with communication. We still believe in the effectiveness of the open door policy this township established many years ago. In every way people are this Township’s greatest resource.
On behalf of the Township Officials I welcome new residents and encourage them to get involved. As always I also encourage all residents to contact any Township office with questions and concerns.
